Born in 1973 in patna, Arun did his BFA from College of Arts, Patna in 1995 & his MFA from College of Arts, New Delhi in 1997. He has participated in many prestigious exhibitions namely : Harmony Show, Mumbai in 1997,99, 42nd National Exhibition of Art, New Delhi in 2000, Symphony of Colors, New Delhi in 2001, Modern Paintings and Sculpture Exhibition at Rashtrapati Bhvan, New Delhi in 2006. He has received various prestigious awards which include the AIFACS Award in 2007, the EZCZCC Award , Nagpur in 1993and the gold medal from College of Art, Patna from 1989-94. His works are in many important collections of art institutions and individual collectors worldwide
